Wedding dresses made of...WHAT?!?!?

So a few years ago I was looking for a wedding dress online. I stumbled across something that stopped me right in my tracks and made my jaw drop. Nope, it wasn't the dress of my dreams and it certainly wasn't the price. It was what the dress I was looking at was made of. PREPARE YOURSELF...THIS IS SHOCKING.....

I kid you not, the following dresses were made entirely of toilet paper! There are actual toilet paper dress making competitions! I get the email yearly of the winners! lol. :)

Would you ever wear one of these? I definitely wouldn't in the rain! lol! :)

On that note, I think I will close. Hope you all are doing well. Be sure to comment in the Facebook comments or on here what you think :)

As I sit here and write this entry I am watching rain fall outside my kitchen window and I am so excited because I see a few leaves on the grass!!!!!!  That means that FALL is right around the corner and it will be time for sweaters, hoodies, scarves, warm tea/coffee, and my favorite...PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!! <3 <3 <3 Not going to lie, I saw this picture online the other day and started drooling! Tell me if you agree!

I mean tell me, doesn't all that sound DELICIOUS? I had a friend tell me that she can't stand pumpkin anything. My heart literally stopped beating for a minute and my mouth dropped open (she couldn't see it though because we were on the phone) lol I just couldn't imagine my life without pumpkin especially in the fall.

Tell me...what are some of your favorite activities to do in the Fall? Favorite recipes? Post below in the comments or email me or fb me (see links above) and let me know. I would LOVE to hear from you.

Allowance System For Kids

I found this on another bloggers blog. (http://thepapermama.com/) Thought I would share it with you all :) This would be great for nieces, nephews, grand kids too!

Allowance System for Kids
Teaching my daughter to give back to those in need is very important to me. I want to raise her to be kind and understand that sometimes people need help and if we can help them, we should. Recently Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company asked me to share how I’m teaching my kiddo to give back to the community.
On the playground the moms and I often chat about what we do to “reward” our kids good behavior. Three years ago, when my daughter was 3, I had a good jar and naughty jar system to help me get her to listen (please put your pajamas on when I ask, please). Eventually she grew out of caring about the rocks and realized money is pretty amazing, so I changed up our reward system. Our new system has a “Fun” jar, “Bank” jar, “Donation” jar, and “Allowance” jar.
  • The “Fun” jar can be used however she wants! When we first started the money jars she wanted to use her fun money to take us out to lunch (very sweet), but she’s since changed her mind and likes to use that money to buy toys, or cool bug eating plants.
  • The “Bank” jar is the money that goes directly into her savings account. We set up a savings account in an actual bank and when that jar is full, we deposit the coins in there.
  • The “Donation” jar is used to give back to our community. My daughter gets to choose where the money goes, as long as it helps someone. Once we bought toys for kids, and another time we bought food for a local food drive.
  • The “Allowance” jar is like the bank. This is where my husband and I dump our change and we grab money from here for my daughter’s allowance. When she cleans her room, or makes her bed each day during the week: we grab a small handful of coins and she spreads them evenly between the “Fun”, “Bank”, and “Donation” jars.
It takes her a couple months to really fill these jars up and I’m always surprised by how much money is actually in those tiny jars. If my kiddo isn’t listening we do threaten to take away some allowance (we would only take from the “Fun” jar), but we’ve never really had to take any away.

BUSY BEES!!

Aha! Well! it has been a little bit since my last entry.

This last weekend was SUPER busy! It went by FAST! We didn't do anything on Friday night. Saturday we went to the zoo and met up with our friend Laura and my great-grand-sponsor Michelle Larson Johnnie and her family. They are so nice! It was great to spend time with them and get to know them. Her husband Chris was so nice and he got along great with Brad. I wish they lived closer. Such fun down to earth people. Here's a pic we took together:)

Michelle and her children are on the left, Laura in the middle, and Brad and I on the right.

Then on Sunday we went to a meeting at Llywelyns Pub and Grill on Main St. in St. Charles!

:) After that we went to Christina Koenigs birthday party! :)

This weekend I am not sure what we are doing. I do know that today marks 2 weeks until Vegas for Paparazzi Accessorie's CONVENTION! ahh!! #thatmoment2016 I am so excited! I started packing my suitcase tonight #dontjudge haha

So, I must ask..what team are you on Pokemon go if you play? Brad and I are Team Mystic (mainly because his cousin Chris is team Mystic haha)
On that note, I am going to close. Hope you all are doing well. If you have any blog ideas let me know! :) Sometimes it's hard to think about what to write about.

Love y'all!

TR Hughes

HELLO!!!! :)

Well, it's been a while since I have blogged so I figured I would pop online and tell you about whats been going on lately.

We had our 4th of July 3 day event and we did well. We had a lot of fun. It did rain but we did have times where it didn't and we were able to get customers! Next year will be even better! I am excited.
We got to meet a lot of new people and friend people on Facebook and put them in our shopping groups. I love meeting new people and hearing others stories. It's always nice to be able to put a smile on someones face too. Have I mentioned I love my job? :) Here are a few of the pictures from the event.

I saw these twins walking down the road and had to give them free starlet shimmer headbands!
This man knew our Paparazzi Sister Angie Marischen
My amazing, supportive, funny husband dressed up in Paparazzi to lure people into our tent!

I have a meeting tomorrow night to meet with a manager at a restaurant to discuss an "Eat and Shop" that will take place once a week! I am so excited. This would be a great way to meet new customers and hopefully new success lines. #changingpeopleslives5dollarsatatime #bossbabe #blessedblingqueen

This last weekend was a lot of fun. Friday was grocery shopping (woohoo lol) and then Saturday we went to a birthday party for a Papa sisters son. Peyton turned 6! He's getting so big! :)
Sunday we went to see our 2nd cousin (she calls us aunt and uncle) Madelyn (AKA Mighty Maddy) in the hospital.. Poor thing has had so many bowel issues. Good news is she had the surgery and was released today. WAHOO!!  After we went to the hospital I dropped Brad off at the house and then went to a Starbucks meeting to see Marilyn and a few others. :) We decided to leave Starbucks and go to the park...stayed there until dark and then went to Steak and Shake. Here's some pics from the weekend.
Us girls hanging out and talking Paparazzi! :) Our favorite thing to do!
                                                                     Me and Miss Marilyn

Oh! I can't forget to talk about Krystal's AMAZING outfit yesterday! Her Mom ordered a dress from one of those foreign websites that ship from China. Needless to say that the dress was WAY too short so Krystal made it an ADORABLE blouse and dressed it up with Paparazzi and cute shoes! She's so creative. LOOK at that hair flower!! ah! TO. DYE. FOR! ROCK ON KRYSTAL! All of her accessories all together cost a total of $20!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? where can you get stylish jewelry for $5 bucks a piece? Paparazzi of course! www.blessedblingqueen.com

We have an amazing promotion this month for those who are wanting to sign up and become a consultant for Paparazzi Accessories! check it out!

Okay, it is now 12:10AM and I am getting tired so I will close for now. I do hope that you all are doing well. Remember, if you have any questions or have a blog suggestion..please message me or comment!

Love and hugs,

Jamie<3

So growing up I remember my family eating weird things. For example: salt on watermelon, peanut butter and bologna sandwiches, Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches, and mayo in jello. So I have to ask.. do you have any weird combinations that you like? I personally am a fan of French fries in a shake or frosty. Yum! I also like honey on my chicken sometimes. I know there are some other combos that I like but can't think of at the moment. I am always up for trying new things. I never turn down trying something new. If I try something and like it...then it's something new that I will enjoy in life!

Life is about taking chances. You either will love it or hate it.

This is something that I always tell people who are on the fence with becoming a Paparazzi Accessories consultant! Say you sign up and find out that direct sales isn't for you. At least you can say you tried it. Whats the worst that could happen? you will have a box of jewelry to wear and to give away as presents! :) Taking the Paparazzi Accessories risk is one of the best things that have ever happened to me. I am able to help others find self confidence and improve their income! It's constantly rewarding! Seeing someones face light up because of a simple necklace?  It's a feeling I can't describe. No, the jewelry doesn't make you beautiful...YOU are beautiful. The jewelry just helps you see your beauty!  If you or anyone you know is in need of extra money or wants to know more about Paparazzi please let me know. I would love to answer any and all questions.

Enough about that. :) Just thought I would express some thoughts. :) What is everyone up to today? I went to breakfast with my BFF Melissa today and her sister in law Christina. They are such sweethearts. We are currently sitting at Starbucks with Marilyn (my senior sponsor) and 2 other women. It's so inspiring being around other Paparazzi consultants. Tonight we might go to a Baseball game for Marilyn's son! He's so sweet.

So excited about tomorrow! I should be getting my new laptop! It's so much lighter than the one I have and best part? THE USB DRIVES WORK! lol! Right now I just have 1 that works.

Well, I will close for now. Rambling on :)

HAVE A GREAT MONDAY EVERY!

Don't shop. Adopt!!

Lately Brad and I have been talking about adopting another dog. I am on the fence about it. Not sure if I want to go through training a new dog and I'm not sure how Ricky will adapt to having to share me with another dog. Brad and I have made the decision to not shop for a dog anymore. To adopt. After we adopted Ricky we decided that is the only way to go. So, I have been stocking the humane society website.

I found this dog named Charlie and he has been at the humane society since March. I swore to myself I would never get a beagle because they are very vocal and they are bigger dogs than what I am used to. What is it about this little guy that just makes me want to snuggle him? I am used to my fluffy Pomeranians! Those floppy ears though, those sweet eyes. Ugh! I have been wanting to go visit him so bad. With convention approaching and us having this huge event 4th of July weekend. Now is just not the greatest time. Oh, but I just might have to make it up there this weekend to play with him. He has been there so long and I just feel so bad for the little guy. What can I say? I have a big heart.

I was interested in getting a cat but a lot of the people in our family are allergic and I don't think it'd be a good idea. Besides, Brad is totally against getting a cat. He claims they are the spawn of satan (just kidding, of course!).

On a different subject, I found out this morning that I can get Ricky his own license as a therapy dog. It's like $79 but I am really thinking about it. I feel so much better when he is with me. Seriously. I haven't discussed this with Brad yet. I don't know how he will feel about it. Who am I kidding? he will probably say go for it because it will help me. Ricky is so good in public. I know he would be great. I could just imagine him coming to Starbucks with me and chillin' with all the Paparazzi girls. Haha.

Speaking of Paparazzi and Starbucks. That's exactly where I am at the moment. Sitting in a comfy chair writing this. I must ask..what is everyone's favorite drink from Starbucks? I love the Green Tea Frappe! yum!

Well, I suppose I will close this entry for now. I'm sure I'll be back later though. Not sure if anyone reads this but I continue to hope that my blog will grow big someday. Comment below if you read this please:) Thanks!

Haven BY: Kristi Cook Book Review

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a cross between Twilight, Harry Potter, and X-men. It is set in a high school setting so it is definitely considered a Young Adult book but I think it is suitable for ages 13 and up. I have already started reading "Mirage" which is the second book in the series so I will let you know how this one is.

:) check out your local library for this series. You don't wanna miss reading this. ESPECIALLY if you're a HP fan!!

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this whole blogging thing. I decided to create a blog because I always have had a journal and I wanted to get with technology and "upgrade" lol. I figure I am always on my laptop anyway so why not start a blog.
